The day the coffee ran out in Stuart

In which the Stuarts freak out, Jogan acts OOC and Bailey is the only sane man.

”Oh God, oh God, oh God oh God oh God oh God,”

”It’s probably the damn Windsors again, I swear I’ll-”

”This is a kangaroo court!”

”Shut up, Thad.”

”I have a lit final tomorrow, Murdoch will kill me if I don’t pass it-”

”Guys, it’s alright, I think I have emergency rations in my room…”

”Everything’s going blurry, MARCUS I THINK I’M HAVING A HEART ATTACK-”

”What the hell is going on here?!”

The Stuarts turned as the voice of their Prefect echoed through the kitchen. Unlike their usually composed selves, the boys’ eyes were wide and frantic, their shirts rumpled, and expressions slightly feral.

Logan raised his eyebrows and turned to Bailey, the most sane-looking boy in the room. ”What’s happening? If the twins have filled the taps with jell-o again I’m going to have to do something drastic.” Bailey shook his head, looking nervous as he removed his headphones. ”Well, I don’t know how to put this, but…all our coffee’s gone missing.”

Julian, flanking Logan, stopped petting Sonic as his face turned white. ”It’s all gone?…All of it?”

Marcus let out a whimper, and Bailey bit his lip. ”Sorry about him. We think some of the boys are having withdrawl symptoms.” Logan looked at the shaking hands and pale faces of the Stuarts. ”I’ll say.”

Julian grabbed his boyfriend’s arm while cradling the hedgehog with the other. ”Lo, what are we going to do? Sonic won’t be able to function!”

”You do realise feeding your hedgehog so much caffeine he runs all over the House is probably classed as animal abuse?”

Julian frowned. ”It’s cute.”

”Um, hey?” Bailey waved his hand at the two juniors. ”What are we going to do about Thad?” He jerked his head to indicate the boy sitting in the corner, staring at the wall with the look of a man that had lost the will to live.

Carefully wrapping his arm around Julian’s shoulders so he didn’t disturb Sonic, Logan narrowed his eyes. ”Well, if the next delivery to the kitchen isn’t until tomorrow, we’re just going to have to make do with what we have.”

He turned to Lawrence with a tight expression. ”Open up the energy drinks.”

There was a collective gasp.
